Hello! My name is Rodrigo Neri you can call me Rigo, I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I currently live in Kansas City, MO working as a web developer for Cerner Corporation. During my spare time I work on myHomework app and some other projects.

Background

I was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I moved to US when I was 17 to play basketball and go to college. Until then the only thing I really cared about was basketball and how to succeed at it. During my sophomore year my life changed a bit, I broke my arm, got my athletic scholarship taken away and after 7 years of playing basketball I found a new hobby and/or occupation. I noticed that I was doing really well on my programming classes, so I started dedicating most of my free time designing and developing apps. I currently work for a big health care information technology company, primarily as a web developer (Django + Python), during my free time I work on myHomework and a few other apps that you can see throughout this site.

Beliefs

I believe in hard work and dedication. I believe that if you want to reach something you desire you got to fight for it as much as you can. You should always be optimistic about everything you do and know that you can do anything.
